EuroLDS were commissioned by our client to carry out an Electronic Capacitance Test (wet roof leak detection test) and provide a report on the bituminous waterproofing system installed by our client.

Before we attended site to carry out the survey, we collated important information on the existing roof build-up and the new waterproofing system installed.

The client supplied a roof detail plan and arranged for access to the roof area to be tested.

Ahead of the visit, EuroLDS supplied the RAMS to the client. On attending site, a site induction was carried out and the test was set up by our team. The team tested the project in various stages within the field area. Testing was also carried out to all perimeter gutter areas and the perimeter upstand mineral capsheet. The test was concluded that day with several defects found. The defects were noted on the roof plan and marked with a wax marker crayon to the surface of the mineral capsheet. The installation team were shown the defects and they were able to proceed with the repairments on the very same day.

Our surveyors sent all test information to the head office and a Comprehensive Report was formulated and sent to our client for the handover of the project.
