Leak Detection in Wakefield, UK

Our surveyor attended site to carry out an Electronic Field Vector Mapping of several roof areas of different sizes. Before works were carried out site inductions were attended, and RAMS handed to the site manager carrying out the site safety induction. The surveyor was then escorted to the roof areas to be tested by internal access so work could begin. All roof areas were fully tested, and several leaks were found in various locations.

A EuroLDS surveyor marked all defects to the roof plan supplied by our client. All defects were then photographed so they could be added to the final report issued by head office. Further to this, our surveyor marked all defects with a wax crayon for easier identification by the installation team. Whilst on-site, a EuroLDS surveyor carried out visual inspection of the cover flashings to the upstand details and all roof lights. The surveyor emailed all findings to EuroLDS office and a Comprehensive Report was formulated which was sent to the client. Once the client received the report the original installation team attended site to proceed with remedial works to the single-ply waterproofing system. All roof areas were then signed off by the waterproofing manufacturer and handed over to the main building contractor.
